Mini-Canvas Journals-Painted With Acrylic Paints. This technique is called reverse painting where you apply acrylic paint onto the canvas cover and add a light touch of water next to the paint for a watercolor effect that will feather, bleed and blend. To reverse paint, apply darker colors behind the lighter and make shapes such as the flowers and leaves.

Schools: If your students book cover gets "publsihed" in the "Art With Heart" Gallery, they may pick a standard size blank book or standard size printed cover book as a thank you for being a Gallery Designer. Please send the first name of your student, name of school, age, grade and the name of their book and what book gift they would like (if chosen) to be in the Gallery. (Include your school address and Attn To:)
Please limit the best 3 from each school, one submission per school year.
All Designer Photos are very welcome in the "Art With Heart" Gallery. Send your name and design tips steps in how you made your book, the materials used and where they can be purchased in an email attachment of jpg. photos of the cover, an arial view and your favorite pages inside.
All content subject to "family viewing" approval.
