EMBEDDED SEED BOOK COVER BINDING TIPS

Measure paper to allow for length on back side when folded Be careful when cutting the corner tips so the book corners are not exposed Fold the cover inside the book under the first page

Use a PVA Adhesive Glue that is flexible works best, or here a clear Gel Glue was used. Do not get the paper too wet, use thin coats.
Fold the flap onto the book
Apply thin glue to the backside top, middle, sides, bottom

Press and hold the last page done until it to prevent wrinkles After glue has adhered press book together to shape it Finished inside, the book should easily open


The book dries fairly fast let is set about 10-15 minutes	Measure the center and mark it with a pencil	Using a Hole Punch/Eyelet Machine, apply to front and back

The 3/16" eyelets should be about 1/2" from the right side	Thread your favorite program or bookmark tassels to secure it or use your favorite wraphia or ribbon.	Yellow is Saffola and Purple is Larkspur Embedded Seed Paper

Mod Podge ® is quick-drying for multiple coat build up and dries clear.

PRODUCT DETAILS: (4 oz). Jar of Lineco PVA neutral pH adhesive glue safely adheres or repair papers, books, bookbinding, boards, framing, cloth, collage, scrapbooking, crafts.

It has a modified dextrine base which is reactivated or removed with water. It possesses an excellent “lay flat” quality which is critical for thinner papers. Made of archival polyvinyl acetate (PVA), this archival-safe glue is great for bookbinding as it will not brittle or yellow with age.
